Krstin McLuckie -"Our Pocket Rocket"
With a whirlwind of four little blond boys, Krstin, her husband Tommy and their daughter arrived in Dampier in 2013. Right from the start Krstin and her family felt at home and knew Dampier was the place for them to settle and raise their brood.
Joining the Red Dogs Junior Soccer Club three years ago, Krstin coached the U5’s for two seasons, held the position of Secretary for one season and this year is the Club’s Registrar. She always helps out various teams on training days and assists in the canteen on match day, even when three of her own kids are playing their games. Krstin often puts her hand up to umpire the junior soccer games, an activity not indifferent to herding cats!
During 2017 Krstin was a member of the Dampier Community Association committee, attending monthly meetings and helping with the numerous events run by the DCA, including the Markets, Movies, Art Awards and many one-off events.
Krstin has been involved with the Karratha Dampier Teeball Association for the past three seasons. In 2018 she coached the Intermediate team, having been the assistant coach for the prior two seasons. She can be always be counted on to help out as scorer or line umpire during games.
